Well done to all G.C.S. students who competed in the South Connacht Cross Country qualifiers in Bushfield, Loughrea on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. There was some wonderful running on the day and many of the squad were placed high up the field in their categories. 

Congratulations to Ruby McGuire( Junior), Alfie Dowling (Junior),the Boys IntermediateTeam of Cormac Feeney, Darragh Kennedy, Adam Kennedy and Lee Hegarty, the Girls Intermediate Team of Beth O’Mahony, Hazel Maguire, Nicole Mulhearn,Lucy Curtin and Nuala Kilmartin and our Senior boy, Dermot Nally, who have qualified for the Connacht Finals in Loughrea on February 22.
