Rosha was part of our teaching staff from 2001 to 2013 and mainly taught Gaeilge and Geography. She was an extremely dedicated teacher who always put the interest of her students first. All students were treated with respect and high regard in her classroom.

Rosha listened with care to her students and enjoyed their stories and interactions.

She also provided a listening ear to those who needed it, and shared words of wisdom where she could. We, her colleagues and friends appreciated her unique sense of humour and her many “seanfhocail”!

Rosha took early retirement in June 2013 but retained an active interest in life and wellbeing in Glenamaddy Community School.

“Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís”. Rosha’s greatest passion in her life was her family. She spoke frequently and lovingly about them all. She loved her family get togethers and even travelled to other continents to visit them when they were away.

We extend our deepest sympathies to her husband Noel, her son Michael, and daughters Rachel and Sarah. She equally adored her daughter-in-law Michelle, and sons-in-law Paddy and Kenny. Her grandchildren Róisín, Tomás, Cillian and Aoibh were the apple of her eye.

You will always be missed Rosha.
