The Mentors organised a table quiz for the First Years on March 26th. It was a fun and bonding experience for everyone.
Prizes were given to the teams who came first, second and joint third. Well done to everyone involved!

A group of eight FET (Further Education and Training) adult learners flew from Ireland West Airport Knock to Málaga for a 15-day work placement over the Easter break. The trip was funded by the Erasmus+ programme. They stayed in a university residence in Málaga for the duration of their visit.

The group of students who travelled to France on the Erasmus trip at the end of March 2026 had several main aims: to see the sights of Paris and Brittany; to visit the village of Guiscriff and strengthen the links between it and its twin town, Glenamaddy; and to improve our knowledge of the French language and culture by immersing ourselves at Collège Châteaubriand in Gourin. It is safe to say that we succeeded in all of these aims.

Please find some pictures from our Seachtain na Gaeilge 2nd Year Quiz from last Friday, 13th March. Pictured are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Our TY students went to visit the Galway Museum which was followed by a trip to Project Padel where the students played a league tournament.

Business Students recently visited Newbridge Silverware in County Kildare as part of an educational school trip. The visit gave students an insight into how a well-known Irish company combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and presentation.

Our Senior Debating team participated in the first and second round of the ACCS Debating competition this year. They took on Ballyhaunis CS and Clifden CS. Unfortunately they did not progress to the regional final. Well done to Jennifer Mahe, Shay Collins, Julian Turner, Dino Deckovic and Charagh Higgins.

Our Transition Year English class traveled to Roscommon Omniplex on Wednesday 4th March to see the widely acclaimed “Hamnet”. Our students really enjoyed the film, especially the performances by Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal.
