On 23rd of April our Tranistion Year students unveiled their sculpture at the main entrance to the school. The sculpture was made by sculptor Donnacha Cahill with the input of ideas and themes from the TY group. The sculptor is to symbolise four important aspects of school life - academic, extra curricular, personalities of the students and remembering all students past and present, living or deceased. This was a Creative Engagement Project which is sponsored by the NAPD (The National Association of Principal and Deputy Principals).
The sculptor was unveiled by Brendan Flynn of the Cliften Arts Festival. More information and pictures can be found here.
