Hard luck to the U-14 Girls who were defeated by Claregalway on Monday 14th Nov.
The girls were dominated in the first half by Claregalway, but showed real grit and determination in the second half, not letting their opponents better them. They dominated with possession in the second half but unfortunately, they could not get the much needed goals. There were strong individual performances from Katelyn Mee, Lauren Conneally and Caitlin Boyle. Best of luck to the girls in their next game against the Convent of Mercy, Roscommon.

Our U14 Girls became Connacht B Champions on Monday 25th with a hard fought win over Mercy, Tuam. The match was played in dry, sunny conditions in Glenamaddy and the girls made the home advantage and support pay as they raced to a 5 point lead at half time. The girls were playing with great spirit and determination and they worked hard to keep on top of their opponents. The win was built on a strong defensive display, only coughing up three scores, albeit three goals. In attack, Shauna Mee scored two goals, one from the penalty spot and the girls went on to a deserved 8 point win.

Congratulations to all the Panel and their coaches, Mr. Conway and Mr. Delaney

Girls U-14 battle to secure a place in the Connacht Final.

The Glenamaddy girls had an exciting game against St Marys Ballina to secure a place in the Connacht Final. A goal in the last minute by Shauna Mee let  G.C.S. level the score, which led to extra time.

G.C.S. were trailing by 1 point with two minutes to go, but a determined Glenamaddy side secured a 2 point lead with a goal from Elaine Nee, followed quickly by a point from Chloe Costello. It was a well-deserved win for G.C.S.

The Connacht Final is to be played in Glenamaddy. The date has yet to be confirmed.
