Junior Champions
Well done to our Junior Boys Football team who won the Galway schools final on Wednesday 16th in Tuam Stadium. They beat Dunmore CS with the final score ending up Glenamaddy CS 4-11 Dunmore CS 4-2. For match report please click here
GLENAMADDY GIRLS REPRESENT GLENAMADDY CREDIT UNION IN THE GALWAY CU FACTOR
Congratulations to Cora Shaughnessy, Eve Cassidy and Megan Heneghan who after winning the regional final went through to represent Glenamaddy credit union in the Galway final on Sunday the 13th of May 2012. The competition was tough but the girls did us very proud and performed ‘the prayer’ by Celine Dion and Andrea Botticelli very well indeed.
THE PLAQUE WHICH THEY RECEIVED IS ON DISPLAY IN THE CABINET IN THE GP AREA.

Juvenile Boys Bow Out
Our Juvenile Boys Football team bowed out at the Connacht semi final stage last Friday 11th in Strokestown. They were beaten by a good Ballinamore side on a scoreline of 3-4 to 1-11. It was hard luck on the team who had been unbeaten all year up to this game.
