Congratulations to Deirdre Dolan (Transition Year) who won the Donal Skehan Kitchen Hero Cookery Competition November 2014. Deirdre submitted a recipe for the competition accompanied by a photo of her dish. Her recipe was chosen from all the entries for second level students throughout the county. As part of her prize, Deirdre appeared on stage in the Town Hall Theatre in Galway on Saturday 1st, November and helped Donal to make some tasty Thai Fish Cakes in front of an audience of over 200 people. Deirdre also received four tickets to attend the show and a signed copy of Dolans’ latest cookery book and the school won a food hamper sponsored by Spar. Well done Deirdre!!
