Congratulations to Karen Garvey and Mary Duignan, two TY students, who were shortlisted to the final ten in a writing competition organised by the Village Bookshop in Moycullen to celebrate their 10th birthday. The prize giving took place at the bookshop on Saturday 23rd May and Eileen Battersby, literary correspondent of The Irish Times was there to speak about the role of the critic. It was a very enjoyable evening for all who attended.
