Well done to TY student Sinead Connelly who came second in the Schools Playwright Competition on Tuesday 26th April. The play, entitled ‘The Smallest Idea of Freedom’ was based on the theme of freedom and set in Dublin in 1916. The competition, run by the All Ireland Drama Festival is in its third year. The award ceremony took place in the Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone and Nick Sheridan from RTE was the special guest on the day.
