Thanks to all the students and teachers who participated in our Dress Up Day 2025 in aid of Galway Hospice and St Vincent de Paul. It was great fun!

18 teams entered the Second Year Maths Quiz; all 5 rounds were number based. The team who came in first place won by a majority and after a tiebreaker we had a clear 2nd place.

Congratulations to the following students that competed in a Maths Week Competition. They competed against all First Years in a competition held within the school. Maith sibh!

Congratulation To:
Julian Turner, Angel Mongan and Lucia Hernandez on their fantastic achievement in the John Hooper National CSO competition. Their project “His Story or Her Story” analysed History books studied for Junior Cycle and the percentage of times female historians are mentioned in textbooks versus male historians. They were among the top 15 projects in Ireland, and their project can be read on the CSO website.

The Awards Ceremony was held in Croke Park during Maths Week where they received thier prize. Thier poster was on display and afterwards they got a complimentary tour of the GAA Museum in Croke Park.
