Congratulations to Rowan Dunne (TY) who was recently presented with an Outstanding Achievement Certificate by SciFest. The competition which was due to be held in GMIT in April was held online instead. Rowan’s project “Are Thorium Salt reactors a new safe sustainable energy source ?” was an extension of the research he conducted for his CBA 2 in science last year. Rowan hopes to continue his research into this topic.
