Our TY students have been hard at work turning old materials and recyclables into some wonderful fashion for the Junk Kouture competition. Check out @junkkouture on instagram to follow them on their journey.

On Thursday, November 28, 2019, we had our first cross-country event of the season. The annual 6km in Ballygar was a wonderful first outing in preparation for the national competition in January. It was an enjoyable run for all involved and we were particularly delighted to bring the gold (Oisín Keane- Third Year)and silver (Eoin Collins- First Year) trophies back to GCS.

Best of luck to G.C.S. students Davóg Kelly, Sarah Raftery and Ava Doherty who will be representing the school in this years Young Scientist Exhibition in Dublin this week.
