A Ceolchoirm will be held in the school this Thursday (15th) at 7pm. Students will be displaying their linguistic and musical talents for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Some TY students recently qualified for the Western Regional Final of Junk Kouture with their design "Frida Earth" and now need to collect your votes which will count as 10% of their overall score. You can vote once a day until Friday 23rd and earn extra votes through the website (go to "Get More Votes") https://app.junkkouture.com/home
Junk Kouture is a national contest which encourages young designers in second level education to create striking couture designs and impressive works of wearable art from everyday junk that would normally find its way into the bin.

'Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire' , A Festive Fusion of Music Song and Christmas Cheer, will take place again this year, on Thursday the 21st of December at 7pm in the GP Area at Glenamaddy Community School. it has proved to be a wonderful start to the Christmas for all in previous years and this year proves to be another cracker and a great Christmas night out for all the family.
No booking necessary, charge on the night at the door, €5 for adults and €2 for children and there will be complimentary refreshments of mulled wine, hot chocoate and mince pies on the night.
